SOME SUGGESTIONS FOR RECEIVING WATSU
Before the session

Allow 75 minutes for the session for session outline, questions and aproximately 60 minutes bodywork.
Bring waterwear and a towel.
At the first session a health history will be taken to identify potential limitations of movement and comfort in water.

During the session

Floats may be needed to add buoyancy to the legs.
Your ears will be mostly underwater - ear plugs can be used.
You will be joined under the head and either lower back or knees and gently moved through the water in continuous motion with stretches and pressure point massage added appropriately.
This time is for you - simply lean back - you may close your eyes - your awareness may drift or may remain during the session - there is no right or wrong way to receive.
As the practitioner I am simply a part of the environment holding an empty space for you to explore yourself. If any movement or stretch is uncomfortable or if you would like something done more please communicate it.

Completion of the session

At the end of the session you will be supported at the wall until you are
ready to support yourself.
You can be quiet and float or whatever feels right for you. This is a time
to integrate this new experience fully. Spend time gently getting back on
land and drink plenty of water.
I am available to discuss the session or to make another appointment.
